Download full EP: The idea that the Moon is not perfectly smooth goes back to at least 2500 years, when Democritus asserted that the Moon's “lofty mountains and hollow valleys“ were the cause of it's markings. Lunar mapping became systematic in the late 18th century and it wasn't until 1959 that the first photographs of the far side of the Moon were transmitted from the Soviet spacecraft Luna 3. Space Scavengers draw inspiration from Selenography, the topography of the Moon, for their latest album, to be released in two parts. Chapter one is dedicated to the bright & serene, mesmerizing Near Side of our natural satellite, Selene.
