While it is utterly spoilt for choice, the exhibition ’Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams’ once again put the spotlight on an especially exquisite creation, this time the ’Armide’ dress. Its #Swarovski crystal embroideries were realized by a friend of Monsieur Dior’s, transforming a delicate dress into a heart-stoppingly precious jewel. ⠀The ’Armide’ dress hasn’t lost any of the power to entrance and seduce it had when it was created in 1959. This delicate jewel of a dress is just one of hundreds of head turners at the ’Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams’ exhibition, running till 7th January 2018 at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.⠀
