Support my channel with patreon: In this video I tell the basics behind Parkinson's disease and the currently used classes of medications. I synthesize a new medication of the MAO-B Inhibitor class, with a different structure compared to medication in the same class, that has recently been developed. This new inhibitor, KDS2010, can reversibly bind to the receptor and is very selective, a combination not found in current known MAO-B inhibitors. It seems to be a lot more effective and is currently in long-term trials.
