Bulgaria is going to prosecute Russians for the war crimes committed in Ukraine. The country's authorities are already preparing relevant amendments to the criminal code. After Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Bulgaria received about 100,000 Ukrainian refugees. Many of them are from the territories of Ukraine temporarily occupied by Russia or from regions where active hostilities are taking place. They can contribute to the investigation of Moscow's war crimes.
