Alexandra Vodopyanova is a Mohiniyattam exponent, the head of «Lasya Kalakari» school of Mohiniyattam, a member of «Nritya Sabha» Foundation of Indian Cultural Heritage Studies in Moscow, Russia. She was graduated from the Russian Academy of Theatrical Arts (Moscow) with a degree in classical choreography (ballet). Alexandra is the disciple of the legendary Guru Padmashree Bharati Shivaji, and her daughter, Vijayalakshmi, in CFM (Center for Mohiniyattam), Delhi. During her study years Alexandra was a member of CFM presentation troupe, along with her Guru took participation in many productions all over India. Alexandra Vodopyanova also got training in Chhau style (Guru: Padmashree Pandit Gopal Prasad Dubey, Shashidhar Acharya and Sapan Acharya).
