The Mexican City they told us NOT to visit

Despite being located about an hour from CDMX, Toluca isn't a very highly recommended city. That didn't stop us from having an absolute blast though! ► Get 3 months free: In today's Mexico travel vlog, we're in the city of Toluca in the State of Mexico. Why'd we end up here when there are so many more desirable cities close to Mexico City? We're meeting some old friends of ours! We start off the day at Diego's family's restaurant, Cafe Lusso. Later, @My Trish Advisor and Diego are reunited with our husky Laska and we explore the historic center (zocalo) of Toluca. Then, we visit Dulceria Hernandez, a candy store that's over 100 years old! In total “Mexico“ style, we get invited back as we're leaving and get to know the family over some pulque. Finally, we see the highly impressive Cosmovitral, aka the Botanical Garden with the largest stained glass display in the world. This week was a ton of fun&
