Treehouse Digitals Animated Short Horror Film The Well | Unreal Engine

When TreeHouse Digital set out to make ‘The Well’, the short horror film started as a live-action concept, before the team decided to transition to Unreal Engine. It was to be their first fully CG production, and initially, they were going for a stylized look. But with the arrival of MetaHumans, and the help of Quixel Megascans, Marketplace assets, and a whole lot of their own talent, the production went from stylized to photorealistic, and TreeHouse found a new way of visual storytelling that is exciting them about what the future holds.
