People wander about in front of the royal palace, flags are flown from ships and windmills, people join in street parties, a beacon in a city flares, people wave and cheer, bells ring, ships sound their hooters, buildings are decorated, large guns are fired in a park. People in mediaeval costume ride on horses in a town and blow fanfares on trumpets. The Dutch National Anthem (?) is heard, then an official man makes a speech in a city street, probably officially announcing the birth of Princess Beatrix.
