In January of ’79 in the south of France, Joe Williams and Carmen McRae got together to entertain the lucky jazz fans at the Jazz Gala. Here is part of Joe’s set where he performs the Duke Ellington/ Irving Mills classic, “It Don’t Mean A Thing [If It Ain’t Got That Swing]“. Joe gives it a very spirited and joyful spin.
