Rapiers vs Montante

I take out my modified “Rawlings Montante“ with two clubmates for some at-speed freeplay. All participants in this have received their Covid vaccinations. Several dumb mistakes, some good executions of documented techniques, and a good time had by all three of us. In the 2 Rapierists vs 1 Montantero scenario, we attempted to have both rapierists “lose“ when either one of them got hit, to discourage purposefully suicidal attacks. Looking to do more of this, and I will soon be making another “Rawlings Montante“ setup. I'm attempting to close the gap between montante rules as practiced solo, and applying them in real time as needed.
