This is a dance performance of traditional English clogging in the vaudeville “Marley“ style, danced by Renée Camus, to fiddle music by Liberty Dawne. The tune is Yankee Doodle Dandy, by George M. Cohan. This is part of a show I created called Celtic Roots and Cowboy Boots, a 45-minute presentation featuring Celtic dance forms and the influence they have had on percussive dance of the British Isles and North America. It was presented and filmed at the Potomac Celtic Festival in Leesburg, Virginia, on June 8 and 9, 2002. Want to learn to dance like this?
