The Dominican Republic. It's four hours from NYC, 80 degrees in February, and offers surprisingly, beautifully consistent flying. Launch off a jungle mountain, land on the beach, or a horse pasture. I have no idea why the country is not overrun with wintering NE pilots. Sites shown here (in order of appearance): Jarabacoa, Paraiso, La Playita (Azua), and Casabito.
