The new version 3 of the popular Orient Sun & Moon watch series, now has a new automatic in house caliber F6B24 with twenty two jewels that features hand winding and hacking with . There are also a few subtle differences. Starting with a concentric and guilloche pattern more pronounced then in ver2 on the inside of the dial, you will find two large subdials with their distinct patterns, slightly offset on the 10 o'clock and 5 o'clock position of the watch. With two exposed screws, holding Sun&Moon sub-dial at place, the dial conveys the same level of depth as the previous version. A date display is located between the 7 and 8 hour markers.. Additionally, the print of the Roman numeral hour numbers has been lifted, making them appear a bit bolder and larger. Designated as an executive watch by Orient, the Sun & Moon is meant to be a highly adaptable design, equally comfortable at the office as in casual settings. In fact, pretty much the only setting where this watch would be out of place in would be in sporty occasions and it does have a 50 meter water resistance rating, so it can hold up to small splashes, quite a chameleon, indid. Add to that 24hr function subdial and you will have unique watch that offers much more than expected. Dimensions-wise, the ver3 has remained unchanged. It still sits at across, and 14mm thick, which is attributed to its domed sapphire crystal. Originally watch comes with an longer alligator grained leather strap with a beautiful, deployant clasp.
