Virginia: The James City County Police received multiple calls about a motorist firing shots. A suspect was identified and located at a house. Four James City County Officers proceeded to the suspect’s residence. The suspect began firing at two James City County Police Officers in the roadway, approximately 210 feet away. The shooting continued for nearly five minutes. The suspect then surrendered on the front lawn. Several charges have been obtained, and more are likely. One James City County Police Officer, who was maintaining cover behind the vehicle under fire, sustained minor injuries.
