Since Halloween is upon us it makes sense that we get treated to a new adventure within the Resident Evil universe! This time we take on the role of Rose Winters as we return to Castle Dimitrescu and other familiar locations from the beloved Resident Evil Village. A new kind of danger is lurking in the dark, but luckily a guardian angel named Michael is there to guide us. I thought it was a lot of fun to return to Resident Evil with its trusted gameplay of solving puzzles and avoiding scary enemies. It doesn't really wow anywhere and some of the new scares have even been overdone in many other indie horror games, but it felt like a proper goodbye to Village as we prepare for the Resident Evil 4 remake.
