Roland TD 17 - How to Import User Samples

Hi! Thanks for being here. In this video I show you how to import samples into the Roland TD 17 Drum Module and then assign them to the pads on your kit. The electric drum kit used in this video is the Roland TD 17 KVX with PDX-12 Snare, PDX-8 Toms, VH-10 Hi-Hat, CY-12C Crash Cymbals, CY-13R Ride Cymbal and KD-10 Kick. For the purposes of this video I show you how to add a cowbell sample to the rim of tom 3, a splash cymbal sample to the rim of tom 2 and crash cymbal samples to the head and rim of a CY-12C crash cymbal pad (Crash 2 on my kit). This is what i consider to be a 'practical' use of user samples but you can also import and assign samples including sound effects, guitar riffs, orchestra hits, bass guitar loops, keyboard list is endless! Keep in mind that your samples must be in a .wav format and no larger than 2GB. Stereo samples must be no more than 148 seconds long and mono samples no longer than 295 seconds. Here are a few web
