I'm not sure if I’m entirely happy with how this turned out. It seems sloppy and sucky so I’m just gonna chuck it into the world and make a run for it. Not even sure what I wanted to do with this edit but I'm a sucker for parallels, so this edit was more like a parallel scavenger hunt for me I think?? This also isn’t a shipping edit, just FYI, but feel free to view it in however you like :) I’ve been kind of obsessed with their dynamic because I can’t seem to wrap my head around it. Their past and reasons for being close is never explained at all, it’s only subtly hinted at. And you’d expect that the last person in the household to give Vanya the time of day when they were kids would be Five, or at least I would assume since he has such this hefty superiority complex. His whole personality and his actions towards others just make you think that he wouldn’t be the person that he'd be Vanya's bestie, but for some reason, he was. Even became a confidante to her.
