After the spearfishing trip to Norway I did in 2017 without seeing a halibut I returned over a year later, further north, deep into the Arctic Circle of Norway. Spearfishing in these Arctic waters presents it’s own unique set of challenges. Daylight doesn’t last long and during our week long trip the daylight shortened by over 45 minutes. Exposure to the cold weather means using thick wetsuits up to with water temperatures ranging from 6-8ºC and air temperatures between 1-8ºC — challenging conditions
