You might be familiar with the 9-patch quilt block, and you may have heard of strip piecing, but have you ever tried creating a 9-patch block using strip piecing? It’s magic! This video is part 1 of a series of projects that can utilize this technique. Check out part 2 here: This block has a finished size of about 30” x 30”, but the fun part here is that you can make it any size! Add more 9-patch blocks or add less to make it smaller. This technique is super easy and simple to do and can use any patchwork you may have such as spare blocks, and it’s fat quarter and half yard friendly. The possibilities are nearly endless!
