Hidden treasures inspire us to imagine a world of adventure, featuring pirates and treasure seekers, on a quest through the deserts of Arabia, or the Caribbean Islands. Many treasures have yet to be discovered, like that of the Templars, or the Cathar knights’ treasure in Montségur. Others include King Solomon’s gold mines of Ophir, El Dorado and the Treasure of Lima, amongst many more. Some of these treasures are associated with the figures who hid them, or are linked to the ships and shipwrecks in which they sank. Others are mythological treasures guarded by mythological beings, like giants, genii or dragons. Some are enchanted and shower their owners with gifts and good luck, but those can only be reached by the pure and noble-hearted. Others cause nothing but pain and suffering, because they have been immersed in theft, crimes and ambition. This is because they do not belong to this planet’s surface world, rather they are property of the Inner Earth, the magical world of Agharti, and its beautiful cities, including Shamballah, Erks, and Telos – subterranean cities where highly evolved beings reside, including those who sought shelter there from Atlantis, Lemuria and Hyperborea. The paradise of underwater treasures is undoubtedly the Caribbean Sea, whose depths host thousands of galleons, frigates and ships, lost since the discovery of America. Yet, over the course of history, and throughout the world, we find many other memorable treasures, such as that of Alaric, and Priam’s Treasure – which triggered the discovery of the mythical city of Troy. ‘Iram of the Sands’ is also worthy of note, as are the Treasure of the Son Bhandar caves in India, and The Sapphire Book, among many others that continue to await discovery.
