On the night of December 12, 2018, a ship under the banner of the African state of Togo washed ashore. Apparently, the ship was going to the nearest terminal of the Novorossiysk port. Even before the fatal ejection, the captain requested a tug to help, but bad weather and a storm did not allow this help to be realized. None of the sailors on board were injured – as were the people on shore. The owners of the ship did not identify themselves in any way. Why? Any specialist will tell you that the removal of a ship from the shoal always costs the same as the ship itself (and more often-even more expensive). The Togolese Republic is a poor country. The owner expected that the storm would turn out to be an insured event, but, apparently, the amount from the insurance for the designated event was not enough.
