Katja and Naude Dreyer, founders of Ocean Conservation Namibia never do a family beach day without their rescue net. On this day Naude took his son Dylan to the beach to surf but they decided to quickly check in on the seals too. They found this adult female fast asleep and snuck right up to her and got the net over her head without her even waking up. After she got a huge fright tthey quickly got to work. Dylan asked to cut her free as he had never done it before. Once they let her go, she ran towards Dylan and gave him a huge fright! He quickly learned that you always respect, and never underestimate the speed of a wild Cape Fur Seal!
