Kim Jong Un concluded his visit to Russia, his first international trip in four years, with dinner and a toast at Vostochny Cosmodrome. President Putin made a short speech to his counterpart, highlighting the two countries’ historical relationship, and quoting a Korean proverb: ’In Korea there is a proverb: clothes are good when they are new, but a friend is good when he is old,’ adding, ’And we have a saying: an old friend is better than two new ones.’ ’To the health of comrade Vladimir Putin, to the new victories of great Russia, to the strengthening of Russian-Korean friendship,’ replied the North Korean leader, wrapping up successful talks between the two.
