Balloon sesame simit Ingredients: 1.5 cups warm milk 1 tablespoon dry yeast 2 tablespoons granulated sugar 1 teaspoon salt About 2.5 cups of flour For coating: 1 cup sesame seeds 1 cup milk Note: - 1 cup measurement is 200ml Sunflower oil for frying Instructions: Place the dough ingredients in a mixing bowl and knead until you get a soft dough that lightly sticks to your hands. Add the flour gradually. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm environment for about 45 minutes. After the dough rises, knead it 2-3 times to release the air. Then divide the dough into 6 or 7 equal pieces and roll them out to the size of a small plate. Place milk and sesame seeds in two separate bowls. Dip one side of the dough in milk, then in sesame seeds. Use a rolling pin to ensure the sesame seeds stick. Cut as shown in the video, making sure not to make it too thin or it won't puff up like a balloon. Fry each piece in hot oil, turning constantly until it starts to lightly brown on both sides.
