Subscribe to our channel! Crowds of demonstrators gathered in Merrion Square, Dublin, on Friday, in protest of a new set of COVID-19 rules targeting children. Participants could be seen holding signs against the new regulations, with several children also in attendance. On Wednesday, the government declared that children aged 9 and above should wear masks in schools, shops, and public transport, and recommended that parents limit indoor socialisation between youngsters. In addition, both vaccinated and non-vaccinated travellers to the country will be required to take a PCR test or lab-administered antigen test upon arrival.
