Ain Soph - Kshatriya 1988 Dark Ambient, Industrial, Experimental Full Album Neoclassical arrangements, noise and experimental sounds. With just a few musical arrangements, voices and notes repeating their minimalist echoes, this Ain Soph album is a strange masterpiece of great intensity, flooded with a deep and shocking mysticism, poetic to the core, marble, always distant; coldly embodied in the premature rock of the finest and most calculating maddened oneirism. Songs / Tracks List I. Decimus gradus 00:00 II. Monsalvat 05:08 III. ΙΑΩ 13:22 IV. Kṣatriya [क्षत्रिय] 22:53 Ain Soph were an Italian band that mimicked the gothic/exoteric suites of Current 93 and the likes. They built up their reputation with a series of cassettes: I (Misty Circles, 1984), II (Misty Circles, 1985), Crucifige (Misty Circles, 1985), Ars Regia (Nekrophile, 1986). Their classics are probably Kshatryia (Misty Circles, 1988 - Musica Maxima Magnetica, 1992) and Ain Soph (Staalplaat, 1990). Later, they abandoned the experimental hypnosis of those works and rediscovered the song-format and the rock sound on Aurora (Cthulhu, 1992). They reunited for Ottobre (Misty Circles, 2002).
