“ Suddenly after years of denial the general public has been introduced to the world of climatic engineering, which involves blocking and reflecting sunlight. Attention has been focused on one specific program operated by Harvard and funded in part by Bill Gates. When the so-called ’test’ flight for this operation was cancelled a few days ago, it would seem that such a radical idea like blocking the sun were just too insane for mad scientists. However, geo-engineering programs have been in operation around the world, for general purposes, experimental reasons, and war, since at least the 1960s.
