Cheers! I'm slowly digging into E2Sampler. It's a cool groove box which has got a lot of character. But the sequencer is kinda boring, because it won't let you go off the grid. And that just kills it for genres like hip-hop. So I've decided to remove a sequencer from the chain, play completely live and see what happens. Here's a short hip-hop/trip-hop track which I called “Clocks“, because of the sounds in the first part that were build from ring delay effect. All sounds were crafted with E2Sampler onboard samples and synths. No resampling or external sound sources were used. About the sounds: Drums: Kick: TwoTone, Pitch 1, LPF 81, Res 51, EG 57, No LFO, Amp on, Decay on 90, FX BitCrush-6 Snare1: Rim Harsh, no pitch, LPF on default, No LFO, Amp OFF, No Fx HH: Authentic2, Pitch 29, LPF 55, Res 29, EG 62, LFO Tri Pitch, Depth 26, Speed 6, Amp On Decay 113, FX Delay 1/16 - 32 Snare2: Hippy, LPF on default, No LFO, Amp OFF, FX B
