New revelations in the Pune Porsche crash investigation have surfaced, alleging that blood samples from the 17-year-old driver and his two friends were tampered with at Sassoon Hospital to conceal alcohol consumption at the time of the accident. The crash, which occurred on May 19, resulted in the tragic deaths of two IT professionals. During recent bail hearings, the prosecution accused two hospital doctors, Dr. Ajay Taware and Dr. Shreehari Halnor, along with intermediaries Ashpak Makandar and Amar Gaikwad, of involvement in the alleged tampering. Special prosecutor Shishir Hiray claimed that Dr. Halnor received Rs 2.5 lakh to swap blood samples and that substitutions were made hours after the crash. According to Hiray, a trainee doctor’s statement revealed plans to replace the blood samples of the minor's parents with those of their son, and similar plans for the friends' mothers were thwarted due to mismatched blood groups and additional alcohol consumption reports. Eyewitness accounts described the minor driver as heavily intoxicated and unable to stand post-crash, contrasting sharply with Dr. Halnor's preliminary medical report, which showed no alcohol in the driver’s system. #puneaccidentnews #puneporscheaccident #pune #maharashtragovernment ..............................................................................................
