Cities in China continue to be hit by devastating tornadoes. On July 22, the city of Shangqiu in Henan province was hit by a tornado. According to meteorologists, the wind force was about 180 km/h. The China Meteorological Administration has rated the tornado EF-2. Streets and cars were damaged by fallen trees. The building of one of the factories was seriously damaged. Several roofs and windows in residential buildings were also damaged. Power lines were damaged and several areas were left without electricity. According to preliminary information, four people were injured. Local authorities have sent relevant services to carry out emergency repairs to the power supply and clear roads.
