Happy LGBTQ Pride Month! Pride Month in the US is celebrated annually in June to honor the 1969 Stonewall riots, and works to achieve equal justice and equal opportunity for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer/questioning people. As an ally of the LGBTQ community I chose to celebrate this year’s pride month by featuring many of the LGBTQ flags, focusing on the flags that represent romantic and sexual orientations and gender identities. The cookies I made for this set were donated to Pride Center of Vermont (I was born and raised in Vermont) and I am donating a portion of the proceeds I make for content creation for this set to GLAAD (the world’s largest LGBTQ media advocacy organization). I want to give a huge shoutout to Kae Burdo who consulted on this set. Kae identifies as queer, nonbinary and demisexual, and uses pronouns they/them. They were so generous in their time, helping to select which flags to include and in what order to share them, how to tackle all of the color
