The unaffected simple beauty of this melody inspired Canadian-born composer Robert Farnon in 1958 to transcribe the music for orchestra The result was a miniature tone-poem of exquisit beauty. This clip is taken from a recording made at the Royal Albert hall London 31st Jan 1971,Still comercially available, and is dedicated to David Ades and world wide members of the Robert Farnon Society which has now existed for over 50 years and still continues to thrive and attract new members.
