My first in a series of videos in which i break down a singers vocal style to see what they do, how they do what they do and what we can do to do what they do! Disclaimer: The aim of these videos is to show you how I try to mimic the tone and style of various singers. Singing in a style that isn't natural to your voice and using certain compressions styles can damage the voice if used long term. I use these sounds and techniques for certain studio performances and for clients who wish to have a certain style and sound on their recordings. The same as voice actors may push their voices in a studio session, I may use these styles in the same manner. If any singing style or technique you try hurts, I do not recommend using it long term.
