I was genuinely surprised with how beautiful and clean of a city Sofia was, how modern it's amenities were while preserving its incredibly rich history and also how budget friendly the prices were. Some people are concerned about the safety of going there, not only with Covid going on, but with the protests happening all across the country against corruption in the government.
