Jairo Andres Pulido was born in Chula Vista, California, and began his musical journey shortly after moving to Las Vegas when he was 12-years-old. Mr. Pulido joined the Nevada Chamber Orchestra as Principal Oboist in the middle of the 2017-18 Concert Season and has continued to perform with the NCO since. Mr. Pulido performed J. S. Bach's Concerto for Oboe, Violin, and Orchestra in C Minor, BWV1060R as his solo debut with the NCO and violinist Nataliya Karashentseva in May of 2021. More recently, he has worked with the Las Vegas Sinfonietta under the direction of Maestro Taras Krysa and as substitute oboe/English horn for the UNLV Symphony and Chamber Orchestras. He currently teaches and performs in the Las Vegas area. Mr. Pulido has performed in many masterclasses, including ones with oboe legends Allan Vogel (Principal Oboe, Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, retired) and Sherry Sylar (Associate Principal Oboe, New York Philharmonic Orchestra).
