In 'Fughetta super: Wir glauben all an einen Gott', performed by Leo van Doeselaar for All of Bach, Bach shows that he was very well acquainted with the international music world, even though he may not have been a great traveller. This is demonstrated in this compact ‘French’ fughetta, a pendant to the Italian-inspired transcription for great organ BWV 680.
