Girls can build stuff, too! Support this and other projects via our Patreon page: In this video, Emily uses wire to “stitch“ together the planks, hull, and transoms of the Eastport Pram to create its shape and prepare it for “glue,“ aka epoxy. But halfway through, we realize we've made a big mistake! This lightweight wooden boat, will be used as a sailing, rowing, and motoring dinghy for S/V Temptress. This model is based on the Eastport Nesting Pram (plans by Chesapeake Light Craft - ). It will weigh approximately 75 lbs, and be just under 8 feet long, made mainly of okoume. It is built using a “stitch and glue“ method. We are incredibly grateful to Chesapeake Light Craft for sending us free plans for this dinghy ($89 value), and helping us out along the way, so we could share the build process with our YouTube viewers. Thank you to Ed and the team at CLC! DISCOUNT CODE! Use the code EMILY to get $10 off any CLC order over $95 through Nov 30, 2020. Vis
