Zuky was rescued from a house in Aguascalientes, Mexico, in what rescuers described as some of the most squalid and filthy conditions they have ever witnessed. We found her in a dark room, filled with urine and feces. She was emaciated and her fur was severely matted. Our Animal Rescue Team rescued 23 dogs living in horrible conditions of mistreatment and abandonment. The dogs were transferred to a temporary shelter and are now safe in our care.
