In Ludhiana there are a number of NGO Clubs and societies who help the needy women & families. On the day of Independence 15 August MaChintpuri Seva Society distributed the groceries to women. On this occasion Punjab Kesari Padam Sh. Vijay Chopra as a Chief guest unfurl the national flag. Distributed the ration and other gifts to the children.
