HyperNova: part 03

🚀 Welcome to another SlipgateCentral livestream replay! 🚀 Part 03: In this stage, I focus on adding more intricate details to Yoon-Ji's design, paying special attention to her mechanical arm, which plays a crucial role in her Ghost capabilities. I also introduce a distinctive ponytail for Yoon-Ji, which adds character and will serve a purpose that I'll have to explain later in the development process. 🚀🤖🎨 During this part, I incorporate elastic straps and triangular clip systems into the costume design. These elements are crucial for connecting the various layers of Yoon-Ji's suit, ensuring she's both agile and protected in the field. I also work on refining her modular helmet design, knowing from the start that I wanted the visor to flip up, revealing her face when necessary. Additionally, I ensure that the lower face mask can be detached for added versatility. 🛡️👩‍🚀🔧 To improve visual clarity without over-detailing the sculpt, I enable ambient occlusion in the viewport. This helps me better understand the forms and relationships between different parts of the design, making it easier to iterate and refine the overall look.
