9/11 Prophetic WTC Rooftop Painting by Joanna Gilman Hyde

This is an art project “Self Organizing Galaxy“ a 10,000 square foot painting where the painting was done at the World Trade Center #5 -- ten stories high at the base of the Twin Towers . Self Organizing Galaxy was painted the first week of September in 1984, took eight days to paint, and was signed on October 10th 1984 -- this was a year after Joanna graduated from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in New York. “The building I was on originally for my test painting was The Commodities Exchange. The building I painted the giant canvas on was known as North East Plaza or by its street address 130 Liberty Street. It was the original #5WTC.“ JH In 1984 Joanna sent this video through the mail to her father in Saudi Arabia. He never received it. She believes the video was confiscated by the Islamic religious police and was circulated through Middle Eastern extremist factions causing outrage at the public display of a beautiful Western Woman achieving such success and creating the bulls eye for 9/11 Joanna's blog ...
