Growing evidence shows that intonation is important on many levels, as good intonation skills correlate with greater intelligibility. This workshop will briefly draw on theory and feature the pitch, accent, and pausing - key elements of English intonation. We will evaluate samples of oral presentations and have a lot of practical activities. We will look at why and how to improve pronunciation in order to get your message across effectively.
