High Wind condition can cause delay in stream. We are running on a wireless network that is bouncing across a lake. Egg was laid between January 15th-18th Welcome to the stream! This Bald Eagle nest has been occupied in the past by a pair that successfully nested at least from 2002 through 2013. That pair retained that territory until January 2020 even though they never laid an egg after 2013. We think that pair may have gotten too old to successfully breed. In January 2020 a new pair that had clearly just become mature appeared to take over the nest but did not nest that year. In January 2021 that pair returned and laid the first egg in this nest since 2013.
