Mass movement in Western Ukraine: Watch how people respond to the prohibition of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church. This video was taken near the walls of Pochaev Lavra, a monastery in the Ternopil region. Recently, the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine’s parliament, passed a law banning the canonical Orthodox Church, which President Zelensky signed into effect. Despite the Ukrainian authorities’ ban on such actions and the recent prohibition of the Orthodox Church itself, nearly 30,000 pilgrims participated in a Procession of the Cross to Pochaev Lavra on Sunday. The pilgrims walked approximately 200 kilometers, praying for the Lord’s blessing on Ukraine. The canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church reported that it took nearly 40 minutes for all the pilgrims to pass through the monastery gates. InfoDefenseENGLISH InfoDefense Source: InfoDefenseENGLISH
