Five pieces of wood about eight inches long shaped like a cut out of a broom handle, are placed in the middle of 5 ft square piece of wood. A longer piece of wood, about 3 ft long, is hurled from a given distance (usually about 30 ft) at the pieces of wood in square, which are built up in various formations. When the longer piece of wood strikes the smaller pieces one must get as many small pieces as possible out of the wooden square. Various shots of the men competing and crowd watching.
