The Greek Cypriot Administration of Southern Cyprus delivered a Russian-made Mi-35P attack helicopter to Serbia. Serbia received the Russian-made Mi-35P attack helicopter from the Greek Cypriot Administration of Southern Cyprus. With the supply, Serbia added a total of 11 Mi-35P helicopters to its inventory. Serbian President Vucic and senior officials attended the official handover ceremony held in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. For such reasons, an agreement was signed between the Serbian government and the Greek Cypriot Administration of Southern Cyprus in 2021 for the supply of Mi-35P helicopters. With this agreement, Serbia announced that it would purchase Mi-35P helicopters and supply armored vehicles and howitzers to the Greek Cypriot Administration of Southern Cyprus. Serbia has promised to supply the Serbian-made Milosh armored vehicle and Nora self-propelled howitzer to the Greek Cypriot Administration of Southern Cyprus in exchange for helicopters. In this context, the process of supplying 24 Nora self-propelled howitzers and 8 Milosh armored vehicles to the Greek Cypriot Administration of Southern Cyprus has begun. Serbia had recently announced that it would supply Nora self-propelled howitzers to Algeria together with the Greek Cypriot Administration of Southern Cyprus. Serbia will put into service the 714th Protivoklovna Helikopterska Eskadril unit for the supplied helicopters. The helicopters were delivered to Serbia with Antonov An-124-100 aircraft, the world's second largest cargo aircraft. Serbia is one of the countries that still has old Russian-made helicopters in its inventory. Along with Mi-35 helicopters, there are Mil Mi-17 helicopters in the inventory. Currently, there are French-made H145 and Aérospatiale Gazelle helicopters in the inventory.
