Great bygone group with Bay Area ties (see Jimmy Luxury) signed to Ruff House/SONY/Columbia --- back in 1992 long before everyone was throwing about the term “GOAT“ (as in the “Greatest Of All Time“) was the actual great hip-hop crew The Goats - who were truly ahead of their time and not just in their name - but musically - which, in terms of pop music and artists signed to a major label, means they will be dropped prematurely by their over-anxious major record label before they have a chance to get popular and then later on be copied/emulated by other artists and even later on revered by so-called music historians.
