Since October 7, the IDF Rehabilitation Department has admitted 10,056 soldiers. Of these, approximately 3,500, or 35%, are suffering from PTSD or other mental disorders. An additional 37% are dealing with physical trauma, particularly to their limbs. Among the admitted soldiers, around 68% are reservists. The department is also supporting 62,000 wounded veterans from previous conflicts. This situation underscores the significant impact of the ongoing conflict on both the mental and physical health of soldiers, reflecting serious concerns for the Israeli Ministry.
