Spring is well and truly here in the UK now with long evenings and warm sunshine, It'd be rude not to enjoy the weather by going out and doing some filming. I aimed for an evening venture this time, and from a different angle too, one I've only filmed from once in the past. The thing I like about this spot, overlooking 09L is the fact I can actually film touchdowns, the only downside is due to the single runway ops that sometimes that view is obstructed by aircraft lining up to depart In the 3 hours duration of my visit there were quite a few movements, still no where near the amount Heathrow use to be. Still during that time there were some good and rare movements including an A340-300 and a 747 Freighter. All in all a good few hours and it was also great to meet the man behind JJ's Aviation.
