THE BRIAN MAY BAND Venue: Live at the Imperator Club City: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil Date: November 9th, 1992 Attendance: Unknown Sources: -Audience Recording (Lossy) (B) -Radio Broadcast (A ) -DoRo Documentary (A ) The final night of the 1992 mini tour takes us to yet another small venue, where Brian (and the band) played a great show to the people of Rio de Janeiro, the performance may be the best of the whole leg, with Brian giving it all he’s got and doing some strong performances of Back To The Light, Driven by You, Love Token, between others, however he does sound a bit tired in some songs and struggles with the highs of Resurrection and Too Much Love Will Kill You. For last night’s sake, Let Me Out has been reinserted to the setlist, now as the show closer, and it’s a banger performance, with the band being on fire and the solos having some great guitar work.
